Parent Involvement

The school community of St Bernardine's is blessed with a large collection of talented and enthusiastic parents, past students and friends who are prepared to give their own time so that the students at St Bernardine's receive a rich blend of cultural, sporting and academic experiences. St Bernardine's has a clear commitment to work in partnership with parents. We value the parents as the first educators of their child. At St Bernardine's we know that the parents have a clear interest in working in partnership with the school so that home and school complement and support each other in the education and development of the children.

Parents are involved in their child's education at St Bernardine's in the following ways:-

  • The Parents and Friends' Association
  • Classroom Helpers
  • Fortnightly school E-Newsletter

  • Parent teacher interviews
  • Celebration of Learning Evenings

  • Participation in class celebration and liturgies
