Should your child have the need to take prescribed medication by a Doctor during school hours, please complete the Student Medication - Parent Request Form available on the Parent Portal under Documents. Send this form to the School Office along with the prescribed medication.
Prescribed medication cannot be administered without written consent, therefore your child may miss a scheduled dose if we do not have the paperwork. We do ask that if your child is taking medication, that if at all possible, could this medication be given at home for eg: before school, straight after school and then just before bedtime. The latter is the preferred option but if this is not possible then please forward medication and permission form to the Office.
If your child suffers from allergies or asthma, the Medication Request form and an Action Plan from your Doctor is required. Labelled Antihistamine and Ventolin are to be kept in the Office.
