At our school, we believe that the arts are an essential component of a well-rounded education. We value the creative expression and artistic talents of our students, recognising the profound impact these have on their personal growth, academic success, and emotional well-being.
Beyond the classroom, we offer numerous extracurricular activities that allow students to further pursue their artistic passions. These include art clubs, choir, instrumental music lessons and the school band..
Music
Students in Years 4 to 6 can join the school choir, where they participate in various performances throughout the year. Being part of the choir helps students develop their vocal skills and musical knowledge. Additionally, choir participation fosters teamwork and collaboration, as students must work together to achieve harmony and a unified sound. It also boosts self-confidence and public speaking abilities, as performing in front of an audience requires practice and courage.
Students from Year 1 to Year 6 can join the Instrumental Music program by Creative Kidz. This program offers group lessons for various instruments, held weekly during class at a rotating schedule. Fees are charged each term. Enrolment is required for the entire school year, with withdrawals allowed only in special cases. For more information, contact the school office or Creative Kidz at 0421 022 818.
